Update 9/12: Luke is a fun-loving, energetic boy. He is about 65 pounds and full of life. He loves other dogs. He is less trusting of men but will warm up with time. He would do very well in a home with other dogs and an energetic family. He requires a fair amount of exercise or at least some room to run. He walks well on a leash with a harness and knows basic commands, sit, stay, place, come, shake. He is very food motivated and quick to learn. He will be a loyal and protective companion for the right family that can provide him with leadership and love. Original Post: Dow responds to Luke, he's learning how to sit, is smart, loving and just wants to be around you all the time. He enjoys time outside as well. He loved a ball, He was truly a joy and will be very missed. I'm sure it will be easy to find the right home for him. (his foster for this past week) >>Dow is black...the name means "Dark-haired" ..owner surrendered w/ rabies shots..can not afford to get all their vetting...He was called "Chance" but a family had him for a week...he is great w/ small children, but gotta watch his tail ! It wags hard all the time ! they taught him to sit, and more..he comes to "Luke". Brother: Drury means "loved one" , he is blonde..nice dogs, about 50 lbs, full grown...good together and NOT used to leash walking...working on this!! WE need foster for each one ...can you help?
