She's not good with smaller dogs and has been going after a couple of my smaller dogs. While I am sure these are provoked, it's still unacceptable and I have worked with my vet for months to try to cure the issue but nothing has worked. My vet has suggested rehoming. She is 3 years old, weighs about 70-80 lbs., spayed, UTD on rabies, HW neg, microchipped, very playful with most of my other dogs. She's very loving and gentle with me, my husband and family. She is trained to use a doggy door and trained to eat at a certain time. She is a great dog, but she needs to be the center of attention in a new home. She sleeps in bed with me at night. I will be VERY picky and even require references and ask to do a home check if I feel that is needed to ensure she is placed with a loving family. Not sure how she is with children, older children who are respectful and caring are probably ok, but not young ones that do not understand you can't pull on the doggy's tail and ears, etc. This breaks my heart into a billion pieces and if it is possible to keep in touch with her new family, I would really love that. I will also ask for your current vet's name and phone number to speak with them (if you have one that you have used).
